****Related Presolicitation Notice was posted on 2/3/2021 under FA8121-21-Q-0007**** Solicitation Number: FA8121-22-Q-0007 NAICS: 336412 FSC Code: 2840 Subject: Spares Buy of the F100-PW-229 Liner, Combustion Chamber NSN: 2840-01-449-1573NZ P/N: 4084071-01 Description: The Government intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the spares buy (supply) of the F100-PW-229 Liner, Combustion Chamber. The requirement is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Quantity contract. This notice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per USAF PR FD2030-20-01837 06 as follows: 1) Function: A single or multi-piece item of pwa 1042 cobalt construction, specifically designed to detail for the repair of combustion chamber liner. Dimensions: Length: 35.0000 IN Width: 35.5000 IN Height: 9.7500 IN Weight: 30.000 LB. This is a CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI), MQR-PSD-1. 2) Set-aside: This is not a small business set aside. 3) List of applicable CLINs: CLIN 0001: Supply of NSN(s): 2840-01-449-1573NZ P/N: 4084071-01 Noun: Liner, Combustion Chamber Quantity: 20 EA Delivery is anticipated to be: 20 units on 19 DEC 2022 *Early delivery is acceptable. CLIN 0002: Supply of NSN(s): 2840-01-449-1573NZ P/N: 4084071-01 Noun: Liner, Combustion Chamber Quantity: 20 EA Delivery is anticipated to be: 20 units on 19 DEC 2022 *Early delivery is acceptable. CLIN 0003: Supply of NSN(s): 2840-01-449-1573NZ P/N: 4084071-01 Noun: Liner, Combustion Chamber Quantity: 30 EA Delivery is anticipated to be: 30 units on 19 DEC 2022 *Early delivery is acceptable 4) Quality Requirements: Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements, AS 9100 5) Engineering Instructions: Find applicable Engineering Data List (EDL) attached. 6) Qualification Requirements – Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements, MQR-PSD-1. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs) and/or approved manufacturing sources. Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the solicitation is closed, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 7) Export Control Requirement: Yes 8) IUID: IUID requirements will apply. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
