The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at The Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring 4th Stage Air Seal Overhaul for the F100- PW-220 Air Craft Engine for the F-15 and F- 16 platform. The requirement cited below is for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Requirements type contract. Description: The requirement is for an Overhaul of the F100-PW-220 4th Stage Air Seal. The 4th Stage Air Seal is used in the F100-220/200E for the F-15 and F-16 Platform. The contract will have a three-year basic and two one-year options. 1. To be eligible for contract award, the offer must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARS). Therefore, offers are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. Sole Source: This effort is anticipated to be a sole source award to Chromalloy (CAGE: 0ALH8) as they are currently the only qualified source for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offers or potential Offers during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
