Pre-Solicitation Synopsis. This is a limited sources acquisition to OEM - Raytheon Tecnologies Corporation (CAGE: 4u884) This service acquisition is for the repair of multiple National Stock Numbers (NSN): 5895-01-562-3494, 5996-01-516-3950, 6130-01-577-3453, 5895-01-577-7664, 5998-01-581-0562, 5998-01-581-0537, 5998-01-581-0566, 5998-01-581-0570, 6610-01-581-2662, 5998-01-581-0481, 5998-01-581-0512, 5998-01-581-0533, 5998-01-581-0567, 5998-01-581-0572, 5841-01-577-5559, 5841-01-421-0909, 5841-01-428-4489, 6610-01-357-1940. This acquisition is for the follow-on contract for highly specialized repair and engineering services to include, repair, functional testing, disassembly 7 re-assembly, inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and engineering sustainment support services. Finishing actions are required to return the end item to a specified serviceable condition. Previous Sources Sought Synopsys FA811919R0028 Electronic Email procedures will be used for this solicitation. Set-Aside: Not applicable. This is expected to be sole source action. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in any source selection process.
