The United States Air Force through Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Tinker AFB 73145 is contemplating the Engineering Services to perform qualification testing of the CRU-73 and CRU-92 Oxygen Demand Regulators used on multiple USAF platforms. A firm fixed price, sole-source service type of contract is contemplated with a 9 month period of performance. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about 19 January 2022 with a closing response date of 17 February 2022 and estimated award date of on or about 25 February 2022. The panel mount oxygen demand regulator provides a source of breathing oxygen, on demand, to aircrew members at a predetermined concentration with respect to cabin altitude. The regulator is installed on all non-combat edge, LOX equipped aircraft at each crew member station (A-10, B-52, C-5, C-17, all C-130 variants, all C-135 variants, E-3, E-4, E-8, T-38). This project will cover two types of regulators, CRU-73 and CRU-92. The only difference between the two type is the face plate that allows for normal day vision, CRU-73, or for night vision compatibility, CRU-92. Both of these regulators have a master NIIN with 2 subs under each one. The CRU-73 falls under master NIIN 001952729 and the affect NIIN for this project is NIIN 014078855. The CRU-92 falls under master NIIN 015098023 and the affect NIIN for this project is NIIN 013914738.
