NOTE: THIS NOTICE IS RELATED TO FA811821R0030 AND HEREBY REPLACES SAID NOTICE ISSUED 22 FEB 21. The United States Air Force through Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Tinker AFB 73145 is contemplating the Engineering Services for the initial phase (hereafter referred to as Phase I) of work required to identify, document, assess, and resolve obsolescence issues with the oxygen equipment used on the B-1 and B-2 weapons systems. The Government intends to issue a solicitation on or about 9 March 2020 with a closing response date of 9 April 2020 and estimated award date of on or about 11 August 2021. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. **These dates are subject to change. Respectively, these components are: B-1 MSOGS Oxygen Concentrator, B-1 Release Valve, B-1 Regulator, B-1 Purge Valve, B-2 OGADS Oxygen Concentrator, B-2 Release Valve and B-2 Regulator. All are critical components of the breathing oxygen life support systems on the respective aircraft. Phase I will consist of performing a comprehensive analysis of the existing technical data, materials/processes, special tooling/test equipment, and sub-tier suppliers to identify/document the specific areas of obsolescence and provide a resolution plan which will be used to scope the following phases of the effort. A report detailing the findings and proposed resolution plan will be the primary contract deliverable at the end of Phase I.
