Remanufacture of B-2 Actuator, Electromechanical, Rotary
The Government anticipates a sole-source award to Eaton for a 3-year basic firm-fixed-price requirements contract to remanufacture end items to like-new condition, including all material, facilities, labor, parts, equipment, expertise, and packing/preservation/packaging. A pre-award survey and/or Initial Production Evaluation is required, and unqualified vendors must submit a Source Approval Request package through the Tinker AFB Small Business Office in Oklahoma. Funds are not presently available, so the Government’s obligation is contingent on appropriated funds and no legal liability arises until funds are made available and the contractor receives written notice. The contractor is responsible for securing long-lead parts, IUID marking is required, and government-furnished property/repairable items beyond overhaul are handled under the stated contract conditions. Work may not begin until a duly authorized contract is executed, and any pre-award effort is at the contractor’s own risk and expense.
