Please see attached amendment, FA8117-20-R-0040 0001, for details. This is a solicitation for a Sole Source effort for the repair of the B-1B Circuit Card Assembly. Symetrics Industries (Cage 22830) DBA Extant Aerospace is the only known contractor that has the data, parts, tools and test equipment necessary to execute the repair. Government defined pre-award qualifications for new sources cannot be drafted due to the unavailability of the necessary technical data. Symetrics Industries is the only entity capable of approving additional sources at this time. The effort is in support of the B-1B. The contemplated contract is for repair of B-1B platform NSNs: 5998012168392OU & 5998012164863OU P/N 701895-110 & 706057. The contractor shall be required to accomplish repairs, delivery and provide program support.
