This market survey/request for information is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements described in the draft PWS. Prospective contractors/institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards as this survey is for planning purposes only and may not result in a solicitation or contract. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. The requirement is currently part of the 8(a) Business Development Program and the USAF is focused on obtaining information from 8(a) certified businesses. This does not preclude non-8(a) certified businesses from submitting a response to this notice. However, it is anticipated that if a solicitation is issued, it will be issued in accordance with 8(a) procedures at FAR 19.8. DESCRIPTION: The tasks outlined in this draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) define the requirements for providing the 848th SCMG with material forecasting, supportability analysis, logistics analysis services, and inventory research and analysis assistance.
