REMANUFACTURE OF METERING AND DISTIBUTING FUEL PUMP This is a synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.201. There is no solicitation available at this time. This effort is to modify the current Parker-Hannifin enterprise contract, FA8109-18-D-0004, that was awarded on April 6, 2018. The remanufacture of the Metering and Distributing Fuel Pumps will be added to the Parker Corporate Contract FA8109-18-D-0004 in Option 1, Years 1 – 4. 1. ESTIMATED SOLICITATION DATE: 13 November 2023 2. ESTIMATED SOLICITATION CLOSING/RESPONSE DATE: 16 February 2024 3. PR#: FD2030-22-01350 4. TYPE BUY: Four year Requirements contract for Remanufacture. 5. PSC/FSC: 2915 6. ITEM: CLIN/Description Input/Output NSN P/N Best Est Qty 1266/Metering Fuel Pump 2915-01-454-6663RK 16VP013-1 65ea / year 7. DESCRIPTION: Remanufacture of Pump, Fuel, Metering Dimensions: 14.5000” L x 14.500” W x 16.5000” H, Weight - 16.5000 lbs Material: Aluminum Alloy Item Function: The Metering and Distributing Fuel Pump supplies fuel from the aircraft fuel tanks to the engine fuel pumps. 8. DELIVERY: CLIN 1266: 5 EA Every 30 Days ARO/REPS 9. APPLICATION: F-16 10. DESTINATION: Ship To: Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) 11. SOURCES: This requirement is sole source. Authority is FAR 6.302-1. Current qualified source is Parker-Hannifin Corporation (CAGE: 26433). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. 12. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. 13. EXPORT CONTROL: N/A. The Government does not have the technical data for these items. 14. UID: If unit price exceeds $5,000.00, then UID requirements will apply. 15. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Electronic procedures and Request for Written Proposal will be used for this solicitation through SAM.gov at https://sam.gov/. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. 16. OMBUDSMAN NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman for this acquisition is AFSC/PZC. This does not diminish the authority of the program director or CO, but communicates Bidder concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
