The USAF E-3G AWACS DAR-400 is a mission-critical encrypted asset in critical need of obsolescence resolution because the legacy equipment cannot support changing NSA requirements. The scope is installation and integration of a Government-owned KG-204 based replacement solution compliant with current DoD and NSA mandates. AFLCMC/WIW is conducting market research via a sources sought/RFI to determine industry interest and the size of qualified vendors; this is not an RFP, RFQ, IFB, or solicitation and respondents will not be paid. The Government seeks vendors of all business sizes, including 8(a), HUBZone, Women-Owned Small Business, and SDVOSB, to provide business size/status, anticipated teaming arrangements, and a brief capabilities package demonstrating qualified personnel and relevant similar project experience. Responses must be unclassified, include a cover letter, be no more than ten single-spaced pages in Microsoft Word using 12-point Times New Roman with one-inch margins, and cannot consist only of a company website.
