The DoD is conducting a Sources Sought for the Next Gen DoD Information Analysis Centers (IAC) Multiple Award Contract (MAC), an IDIQ vehicle intended to provide mission-critical Research and Development to hundreds of requiring activities across the DoD. Customers include every Service, Combatant Commands, DoD labs, and other defense and federal agencies, and the contract is the only DoD contract specifically designed to acquire customized R&D across highly specialized focus areas. It is also the only DoD contract that mandates investigation of existing Scientific and Technical Information and the reporting and sharing of new STI generated under task orders for broader Government use. The Sources Sought synopsis is intended to assess industry capabilities to support evolving DoD S&T needs and inform the acquisition strategy for the follow-on IACMAC.
