The Air Force State Office of Emergency Medical Services (AFSOEMS) executes oversight and coordination of Air Force (AF) EMS credentialing across 76 Medical Treatment Facility (MTFs), 89 Guard Medical Units (GMUs), and 180 Fire Departments, ensuring that over 28,000 medical emergency providers maintain their readiness capabilities. The goal of this office is to ensure safe and reliable pre-hospital care is rendered to 2.6 million beneficiaries at all Department of the Air Force installations, worldwide. This is a performance based non-personal services requirement to provide support to AFSOEMS in executing oversight and coordination of AF Emergency Medical Services (EMS) credentialing across 76 Medical Treatment Facility (MTFs), 89 GMUs and 180 fire Departments, ensuring that over 28,000 medical emergency providers maintain their readiness capabilities. The goal of this office is to ensure safe and reliable pre-hospital care is rendered to 2.6 million beneficiaries.
