This requirement is to procure a commercial off the shelf (already established in the marketplace) e-learning platform that offers asynchronous instruction via short-form videos and quizzes in a scaffolded skill progression across multiple sports and physical wellness activities. This should enable customers to explore interests and programs to learn physical fitness in sports through a digital encyclopedia for youth sports and activities that offers an innovative and expansive learning platform for kids and youth to explore sport and physical activity. Course content should be designed by experienced physical educators and meets national standards for physical education as set forth by SHAPE America. Product must be designed to develop physical literacy, confidence and mind+body wellness and provide unlimited access to all DOD families to 15 sport/activity courses inclusive of hundreds of scaffolded, skill-based lessons. Accessibility is key to support access for neuro and physio-diverse learners. The digital encyclopedia must be fully available in English and Spanish and provide additional resources to connect literacy and physical literacy through recommended reading based on sports.
