The Department of the Air Force Libraries (DAFL) requires access to the Wall Street Journal from Dow Jones & Co Inc. to fulfill its mission of providing quality and technically capable materials as outlined in AFI 34-150 and DoDI 1015.10. DAFL support military personnel in various locations, including contingency operations and remote sites, by offering resources for professional military education, voluntary education programs, and quality of life enhancement. To meet these needs, the DAFL must procure resources that can be accessed globally, even in areas with limited or no internet access. The Wall Street Journal from Dow Jones & Co Inc. provides access to the Wall Street Journal database for authorized customers. The Wall Street Journal subscription provides the DAFL comprehensive digital access to WSJ content for the Deparment of Defense personnel. This includes: Full access to WSJ.com articles and content Breaking news and analysis from the U.S. and around the world Access through the WSJ mobile app Over 40 customizable newsletters on various topics and industries A library of videos and podcasts Voice-dictated articles and customizable notifications
