The contractor shall obtain accountability of power system equipment through two equipment management efforts. 1. The first effort is to send inventory management teams to visit each base in accordance with the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 24 March 2022, to complete field verification of system components and evaluate equipment serviceability, build and populate the computer software model using industry standard tools using EasyPower® power system modeling software. The inventory teams shall work together with base civil engineering (CE) shops at each installation to ensure all power system equipment is accounted for in the model and analysis. The end goal is to inventory and evaluate the entire base electrical distribution system proper and to update the installation records with current information. 2. The second effort is to analyze the data and use the computerized model to determine arc flash potentials, short circuit currents, power flow, and protective device coordination for each circuit. The end goal is to identify and provide proper equipment labeling for safety and identify issues in the parts of the system that require attention and make recommendations for addressing the issues.
