This notice is for information only; a solication will not be issued. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332311 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. 1) The Government requires the purchase of the following: Dome Shelter Parts New Big Mouth Door Panels: FABRIC GABLE END CENTER PANEL 2-3 - 1ea. - $________.____ FABRIC FLAT GABLE RIGHT GI GROMMET - 1ea. - $________.____ FABRIC FLAT GABLE LEFT G2 LACE - 1ea. - $________.____ FABRIC SNAKE GABLE OUTSIDE - 2ea. - $________.____ FABRIC SNAKE GABLE PERSONEL DOOR - 1ea. - $________.____ FABRIC SNAKE GABLE INSIDE - 1ea. - $________.____ The Government intends to negotiate a sole-source contract for the purchase of the items descrived above. The identified sole-source provider/producer of these items as follow: UNIVERSAL FABRIC STRUCTURES, INC. 3115 State RD Telford, Pennsylvania 18969-1076, United States The government has determined that no other source can meet this requirement. Currently, Universal Fabric Structures (UFS), Inc. is the only known commercial entity that can provide the required parts that fit the exisiting MSS Dome Shelters. Furthermore, any alterations that are made to the Dome Shelter with another companies parts would void any exisiting warranties. This is a notice of proposed contract action and NOT a request for competitive quotations, however, all responsibile sources may submit a capability statement or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government anticipates an award date on or before 1 April 2022.
