Amenedment 1, 9/2/2020: Purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date from 9/11/2020 to 9/18/2020 at 2:00 CST. The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) requires services to provide the development of recommended industry best practices to update a the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) content of UFC 03-301-01 - Structural Engineering and the Whole Building Design Guide website with Risk Category I – V content. The UFC update includes replacing load tables in UFC 03-301-01 with a web based form, adopt judicious aspects of the State of California’s provisions for acute care hospitals, and incorporate supplementary vertical seismic acceleration requirements as deemed prudent. The final UFC product will serve as a planning, design and construction document for entities responsible for facilities.
