The 772 ESS is re-competing this Air Force wide IDIQ contract to acquire commercial Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Care and Maintenance Services for United States Air Force (USAF) installations within the Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS). This effort will be decentralized for DoD use. This procurement will fill the USAF Firefigher needs for 188 AF Fire Departments both Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside the Contiguous United States (OCONUS) installations, supporting over 9,900 firefighters. The description of services listed in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement establishes the requirement of F&ES PPE Care and Maintenance Services for all USAF, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve fire stations across the CONUS and OCONUS. In order to adequately protect firefighters in the performance of their duties, the care and maintenance of items must adhere to specific performance parameters and comply with national consensus standards and industry commercial practices for Fire PPE.
