To meet capabilities, the tuba shall meet the following specifications: 4/4 size, bell diameter 48 cm, total height 94 cm, 4 piston valves front action and 5th rotary valve. Valve bore sizes: 1/2/3 = 19 mm, valve 4 = 20 mm. 5th valve bore = 21 mm. Constructed with brass using 70% copper and 30% zinc. Total weight 10.8 kg. Silver plated. Soft case in black nylon or Cordura and aluminum hard flight case to fit the instrument shall be included.
