Requirement Information: The Government requires Integrated Solid Waste/Recycling Collection and Disposal management at JBAB, Washington D.C. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform integrated solid waste/recycling collection management at JBAB in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The period of performance includes one (1) 12-month base year and four (4) 12-month Options. The following performance requirements are critical to this contract: The contractor shall provide equipment, materials, labor, and management to collect and dispose of non-hazardous integrated solid waste (refuse) and interior/exterior recycling in accordance with the PWS. The contractor shall empty municipal solid waste (MSW) at the Covanta Alexandria VA site and recycling at the appropriate recycling facilities at the discretion of the contractor. The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning up any spills, debris, etc. after collecting refuse/recycling at all collection sites. The contractor shall pick up all litter and waste on the ground within a 10-foot radius of the refuse and exterior recycling containers during the collection. The contractor shall ensure that the gates of any fenced container enclosures are closed after each collection.
