NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: AMIC Det 2 OL/PKA Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to Tower Medical Systems Ltd. for the procurement of Lead Cabinets that is used at the Air Force Technical Applications Center. The specifications are: Lead Lined Radiation Decay Cabinet with 1" lead shielding with dual locked doors, shielding encased in steel with no exposed lead, durable powder coat finish, can be moved with a standard pallet jack, strong hinges holding the dual doors, 2 heavy duty adjustable shelves, 36" width x 24" depth x 36" height for use of long and short term storage of decaying radioactive material. This will be a purchase order for the required cabinets IAW FAR 19.1506(b), since this acquisition is assigned a NAICS code in which SBA has determined that WOSB concerns are substantially underrepresented in Federal procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit documentation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received electronically for this synopsis by 11:00AM EDT, 6 July 2021, shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
