This is a synopsis for a non-commercial acquisition for Air Force National Capital Region Information Technology Services (AFNCR-ITS) pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 and the Department of Defense (DoD)Source Selection Procedures dated 20 August 2022. The Air Force (AF) 844th Communication Group (844 CG) has a requirement to provide for a full range of classified and unclassified information technology services in the NCR. The effort provides services to approximately 23,000 users in the NCR and within a 300-mile radius of the Pentagon. Users include the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, National Military Command Center (NMCC), Headquarters Air Force (HAF), United States Space Force and other government agencies who interface with the Department of Defense. The NMCC has a 24/7/365 no-fail mission where Strategic Watch, Crisis Response, and Worldwide Monitoring are executed in support of National Security. The proposed solicitation will solicit offerors for a full and open competition, cost reimbursable effort. Expected period of performance is 60 months/5 years, (12 months base period with four (4) 1-year ordering periods), plus an additional 6-month ordering period per FAR 52.217-9. The Government intends to make a single award IDIQ Contract to the offeror that represents the best value utilizing the Highest Technically Rated Offeror (HTRO)with Realistic/Reasonable Price (RRP) method consistent with FAR 15. 101-1 and 15.3 as supplemented by the DoD Source Selection Procedures referenced in Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 215.300 and the Department of the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DAFFARS) 5315.3. Solicitation No. FA7014-24-R-0021 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). RFP will be advertised with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541513 – Computer Facilities Management Services. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 02 February 2024 at Sam.gov. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions in the RFP, when released.
