This Sources Sought is being issued in support of market research for a prospective requirement. The Office of AFDW JBA SSO has a prospective requirement for an enterprise level security database capable of maintaining personnel records and allowing SSO customers the ability to submit and track a high volume of SCI nomination request packages for members (civilian, military, contractor) requiring access to SCI in support of the Air Force. Database will need to have the following capabilities: Upload and download files (i.e. Word/PDF). Database will need to allow for communication between the SSO and customers regarding requests, such as automated notification in the system/automated email capabilities when there is a status change to a request. Database will need to have capabilities for members to schedule and receive required briefings/trainings and the capability to annotate and verify when a member has completed required briefings or if the member is in non-compliance. Database will need to have capabilities to run personnel reports, statistics, metrics/data reporting tool, and capabilities to archive/modify/delete requests once complete or no longer required. Database will need to compliant with all regulations/policies and have functionality to securely house personal identifiable information (PII) and CUI (controlled unclassified information) and data back-up capabilities. Database will need to be able to be accessible by multiple SSO users at the same time and allow for remote secure access. Vendor must possess the capability to assist in migrating current data and files into the new security database. Vendor will conduct training and/or (“on” instead of “and/or”, perhaps) Standard Operating Procedures to the SSO staff. The SSO is a new office and manages a high volume of records and processes numerous actions on a daily basis. A solution is needed that will assist in providing an efficient and effective solution to process requests and maintain personnel records.
