This ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE, it is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued for the purposes of developing a viable solicitation that will best communicate the Government's requirements to industry and to identify vendors capable of performing the Government's requirements (DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. The requested information for Capability Statements is for market research and planning purposes only and does NOT constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment by the Government of direct or indirect cost or charges will arise as a result of the submission of information in response to this RFI. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information. Proprietary information will be safe guarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. The Government is seeking information and feedback from vendors that can respond to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). These support services are for the Headquarters United States Air Force Air Staff, led by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations (A3). We are working to assess and mitigate the immediate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on US Air Force (USAF) operations and readiness. Doing so requires the integration of epidemiological and economic impacts of COVID-19 into a single common operating picture, assessment of the impacts to USAF operations, and the development of plans and roadmaps to respond to the needs of squadrons, MAJCOMs, and HAF. A3 leads the development and implementation of policy directly supporting global operations, force management, weather, training and readiness across air, space and cyber fields.
