Data Preparation & Architecture: Perform all Data Preparation tasks necessary to transform data from its raw form into a format ready for consumption by the analytical and/or systems development communities in both cloud and on-premise environments. Perform and/or facilitate the necessary data modeling and documentation to facilitate efficient consumption of prepared data by the analytical and systems development communities. Documentation will include, but is not limited to, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), enterprise data dictionary, meta-data repositories, and data environment standard operating procedures. Develop a scalable technical architecture necessary to enable consumption of prepared datasets by the analytical and/or systems development communities. This architecture shall not result in reduced performance of operational / transactional systems because of increased data consumption workloads. Additionally, the architecture will leverage artifacts produced by data originators, data preparation teams, and data modeling and documentation teams to maximize effectiveness of exposed datasets. Infrastructure Development: Perform cloud and on premise technical infrastructure development to enable exploitation of USAF enterprise datasets. This development will include production and experimental design to ensure maximum effectiveness of environment to serve the USAF data consumers. Applied Research and Development: Identify requirements, plan and conduct research and analyses of alternatives and develop and test new and innovative tools, techniques and methodologies to enhance AF data management capabilities and improve access to AF data by Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems.
