Title of Event: Force Structure Support Services Industry Day Audience: Members of the DoD and Industry Representatives When: Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Where: Virtual Abstract: The Air Force District of Washington and the Secretary of the Air Force, Office of Studies and Analysis (SAF/SA) will be hosting an Industry Day for the Force Structure Support (FSS) Services recompete. This free event is open to all small and large businesses. The FSS Services is to provide Software Development Services (SDS) in the form of development, modification, maintenance and operation of specified Modeling and Stimulation (M&S) tools. The modeling and simulation tools which vendors are required to provide SDS on are Brawler, Combat Forces Assessment Model (CFAM), Theater Attrition Modeling System (TAMS), Contingency Basing Selection and Assessment (CBSA), Time-Phased Force Deployment Data – Planner (TPFDD-P), Airfield Damage-Assessment and Resiliency (AD-ARM), and Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM). The operation, maintenance and development of the software tools managed under this contract are essential to maintaining the credibility of the analytic insights produced by SAF/SA and other associated agencies. The SDS sought contains four key task areas; Configuration Management, Models Modification, Models Operation & Analysis, and Contract Transition Support, . As part of the Industry Day event there will be a 60-minute virtual briefing followed by a 30-minute round of Questions and Answers on May 3, 2023. This event is only open to registered attendees. On a separate day, there will be one-on-one in-person 30-minute sessions by appointments only on May 12, 2023. The purpose of the one-on-one session is to allow industry an opportunity to meet with the requirement owner in-person and discuss the opportunities available in the marketplace for the recompete. Who Should Attend: Vendors who have expertise and/or experience with combat operations and logistics modeling and simulation tool development, maintenance and operation.
