The proposed requirement’s purpose is to provide maintenance, repair, testing, and balance certification services on 11 chemical fume hoods for the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Dean of Faculty Chemistry Department (DFCH). The contractor shall supply all labor, materials, freight/transportation, equipment, and supervision to provide maintenance, repair, testing, and balance certification for the 11 chemical fume hoods in accordance with the guidance below. The contractor is responsible for ensuring the chemical fume hoods are brought up to standard in order to pass the certification standard referenced below. The contractor shall ensure the work site is clean prior to acceptance of completed work by the Government. The Government may host a 3-hour site visit during the solicitation, for contractors to evaluate each of the chemical fume hoods and gather any necessary data required to provide accurate quotes.
