The 10th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine interest and capability. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. This is not a solicitation. The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking potential sources capable of providing one new/un-used 15-Passenger Van for outdoor recreational activities traveling through various terrain and weather conditions. The van must meet the following minimum salient characteristics: High Roof Backup camera Split side doors 3” tow hitch with 7-pin connector. (Heavy-duty tow package must be capable of pulling utility trailers that hold various personal and outdoor equipment such as whitewater rafts, ski equipment, rock and ice climbing equipment, and bikes.) Trailer brake controller Air conditioning Rear fan for A/C and heat AWD or 4WD Automatic transmission Power steering Adequate storage space to accommodate personal belongings for 15 passengers Non-electric Includes warranty coverage Is compliant with the Buy American Act This is an unrestricted Non-appropriated funds (NAF) requirement. Businesses of all size standards are invited to respond. The Buy American Act applies to this requirement.
