The USAF Academy 10th Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential providers of Glass Cleaning Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the small business size standard is $22 million. This Sources Sought is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. USAFA, Colorado requires Glass Cleaning Services in support of facility maintenance. The attached Performance Work Statement dated 3 October 2023 provides specific description of the requirement. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement; however, the acquisition is expected to result in a Blanket Purchase Agreement. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. At this time, USAFA is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. The 10th Contracting Squadron, 8110 Industrial Dr, USAF Academy, Co 80840 is contemplating a Sole Source award for 911 Emergency Dispatch to the El Paso Country Sheriff’s Office, 27 E Vermijo Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract with a one-year base period and three 12-month option periods. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 561421- Telephone Answering Services and the size standard is $16.5M. The Service Code is R429- Support—Professional: Emergency Response/Disaster Planning/Preparedness Support. This requirement is for a Communications Center to provide enhanced 911 dispatching and other emergency communication coverage for the Air Force Academy (AFA) Fire & Emergency Services Flight twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. A call for service is the initiation of a request for assistance from the AFA Fire & Emergency Services Flight. Calls for service (CFS) would be created to notify the AFA that there has been a request for their assistance on a law, fire, medical, or any other rescue, disaster, or other emergency. Administrative CFS includes activities such as emergency button activations, paging, and requests for reports. The service provider shall provide call taking and dispatch services to the AFA Fire & Emergency Services in compliance with National Fire Protection Association 1221 (NFPA 1221), Standard for the Installation, Maintenance, and Use of Emergency Services Communications Systems requirements. The Communications Center will answer emergency and administrative calls related to CFS within the timelines set forth in NFPA 1221 and ensure the computer aided dispatch (CAD) software is populated with the correct information. The United States Air Force Academy has an active memorandum of agreement for mutual aid with the El Paso County Sherrif.
