An amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation was posted 22 Nov 2021. The basic CLIN/SLIN structure was updated, and offerors may add to it according to the offerors technical solution. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written (formal) solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 under solicitation number FA700022Q0006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-07, Effective 10 September 2021. The North American Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 541990, the size standard is $16.5 million, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is R428. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if received timely, will be considered by the 10th Contracting Squadron, USAF Academy (USAFA). The Government bears no legal liability for the costs associated with preparing a quote. Vendors should not submit a quote unless they are willing to absorb all costs associated with submitting a quote. Before submitting a quote, please read the instructions in the addenda to FAR 52.212-1 listed below. Please read and comply with all requirements for submitting a quote. Failure to comply with all instructions contained within this combined synopsis/solicitation could result in the quote being ineligible for award. It is the quoter’s responsibility to ensure their quote meets all the requirements identified herein. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS The United States Air Force Academy’s (USAFA) 10th Medical Group (10 MDG) is looking for a commercial service to inspect and certify the Pharmacy Clean Room on a semiannual basis for a base year and four one-year options. United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Pharmacy testing guidelines are required to be followed by all organizations performing sterile compounding. To meet compliance standards, 10 MDG Pharmacy will need to obtain the services of a company that provides the following: clean room certification, air quality testing, pressure gauge testing, and biological safety cabinet testing.
