NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES: The hold has been removed from the solicitation as of 17 November 2020, please review all documents for updates. The 10th Contracting Squadron, 8110 Industrial Blvd, USAF Academy, CO 80840 is contemplating an Award for Cadet Chapel Support Services for a 15 day phase-in period, a 1 year base period of performance, plus four twelve-month option periods of performance, and an optional six-month extension of services. This is a commercial purchase using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), titled USAFA Cadet Chapel Support Services. Throughout this RFQ, all instances of the word "proposal" should be understood as "quote". All instances of the word "Offeror" should be understood as "Quoter". This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written (formal) solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), titled USAFA Cadet Chapel Support Services, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-01, effective October 1, 2020. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561320, Temporary Help Services, and the size standard is $30M. This is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which if received timely, will be considered by the 10th Contracting Squadron, USAF Academy (USAFA). The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Cadet Chapel supports the Cadet Wing by providing the religious and spiritual needs of the Air Force members, other military service members, their families, and the local base community. The Chapel supports individual rights under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and provides free exercise of religious beliefs. This acquisition is for a Cadet Catholic Religious Education Coordinator, and a Buddhist Religious Program Leader. There is currently funding available for the base year. The awarded contract performance shall begin with the Phase-In period from 15 December 2020 – 31 December 2020. The Period of Performance (PoP) will be 1 January 2021 – 31 December 2026.
