PURPOSE: To contact a court reporter, who shall take down the testimony during a hearing, rather than taping it for subsequent transcription for a Formal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Complaint. BACKGROUND: An Administrative Judge has ordered the Air Force to arrange for services of a court reporter for a hearing being held virtually (ZOOM) on 25 May 2023, at 0900 Mountain Time. Currently, the period of performance is scheduled to be one day (25 May 2023), but could be extended to two days depending on the testimonies provided. This hearing is part of a Formal EEO complaint filed against the Air Force. 3. DESCRIPTION: The court reporter shall have access to all required equipment to accomplish services. The court reporter shall take down the testimony during the hearing, rather than taping it for subsequent transcription. The court reporter will be directed to submit a copy of the transcript to each party, and the original transcript will be sent to the administrative judge. The Air Force is responsible for payments for all copies of the transcript. At the conclusion of the hearing, each party will verify that each has a copy of all the exhibits from the hearing. 4. SCOPE: Attend the hearing virtually at the designated time of 25 May 2023, 0900 Denver Time Transcribe testimonies during the EEO Complaint Hearing. Provide a copy of the transcript to each party. Provide original transcript to the Administrative Judge. 5. CERTIFICATION: Court reporter shall be certified as a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) through the National Court Reporters Association. 6. INSPECTION: The contractor shall inspect the finished products is a fair and accurate representation of the testimonies provided in accordance with this SOW prior to providing all copies to all parties. 7. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Beginning on 25 May 2023, 0900 Denver Time. For a total of one or two full workday(s) as required. 8. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Virtually (ZOOM). Requesting quotes for both one workday and two workdays.
