Project work specific to HVAC to include: Server Room #2 will be fitted with similar Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units as Server Room #1 to provide n+1 redundancy; the Switch Room will be fitted with CRAC units with redundancy; the north building core spaces will be provided with supplemental variable refrigerant flow (VRF) units; exhaust air service to remove hydrogen off-gassing from the valve regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries will be installed and; recommissioning of the existing building HVAC units and rebalancing of the airside. Existing ductwork and rooftop units will remain as-is to ensure ventilation air is maintained to building spaces and preclude disruption to building services and occupants. Building areas served by fan coils and unit heaters, which are unaffected by the existing rooftop unit, will remain as-is. Architectural project work to include raised flooring in corridor between Server Room 1 and 2 with ramp and lockable door. Recommissioning of the existing building HVAC units and rebalancing of the airside is included in this scope. .
