This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Dobbins Air Reserve Base has a requirement to Install Single Mode (SM) Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) to support the Dobbins Air Reserve Base, GA. Part 1 - Install Fiber Optic Cable from The Information Transfer Bldg. 700, to Hangar #5, to Bldg. 404, and install New Maintenance Hole/Handholes and Conduit System. Part 2 - Install Fiber Optic Cable from The Information Transfer Bldg. 838, to Hangar #5, and install New Maintenance Hole/Handholes and Conduit System. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. Set-aside is in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. Work consists of but is not limited to, the contractor providing all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and incidentals necessary to Install Single Mode (SM) Fiber Optic Cable (FOC) in accordance with the project’s Statement of Work and drawings. The Statement of Work and drawings will be posted as attachments to the solicitation. NAICS 237130 Small Business Size $45M Magnitude is Between $1.000,000 and $5,000,000 Solicitation will be – Invitation for Bid (IFB) Contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price Period of Performance: 180 Calendar Days NOTE: All contractors must be registered and Current in the System for Award Management (SAM) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: https://www.sam.gov to register and/or obtain information about the SAM program. No Foreign participation is allowed. NOTE: IAW FAR 52.236-1, Performance of Work by the Contractor, the contractor shall be required to perform on the site, and with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 15 percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. The solicitation will be available on or about 26 July 2023 on the System for Award Management web page at http://www.sam.gov. Paper copies will not be available. The anticipated bid closing date/time is 30 August 2023 @ 02:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Bid opening is anticipated to occur approximately thirty (30) minutes after bid closing time at the 94th Contracting Squadron, Bldg 812, 1538 Atlantic Ave., Dobbins ARB 30069.
