This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance wtih the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Dobbins ARB requires a contractor to provide a turnkey fall protection solutions for four (4) aircraft Hangers, Hanger 838, Hanger 904, Hanger 731, and Hanger 746, to support the maintenance of C-130H aircraft and the safety of technicians that work on elevated surfaces of the C-130H aircraft. The installation shall be turn-key, and result in complete, safe and useable fall arrest system. The contractor will be required to provide a structural analysis, design, fabricate, install, and perform load testing of the equipment in its entirety in compliance with AFOSH and OSHA standards. The system shall be designed and certified to completely and safely arrest a fall from any elevated surface on the aircraft and from any worker position (kneeling, standing, etc). The contractor shall also provide fall protection training necessary for the Government to operate the equipment independently. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work, dated 18 April 2022. All work shall be completed within 180 days (6 months) from the date of award and include any commercial warranty.
