The United States Air Force is requesting proposals for Building 1236 Loading Dock Improvements at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth / Carswell. Included in the scope is a contractor furnished, contractor installed dock leveler device. To support the dock leveler, new electrical connections will need to be run, a concrete foundation poured, and safety railings installed. Adjacent improvements will also be performed, including converting the existing approach from asphalt to concrete pavement, adding pole lighting to the approach, adding lighting to the dock, and re-grading the approach to enable proper storm water drainage. The improvements will be completed in accordance with a Government provided Architect-Engineering Design (attached). Construction requirements include, but are not limited to the following: demolition, procure and install new dock leveler, driller piers, new concrete slab, new concrete pavement, electrical work, outdoor lighting and haul away of waste material.
