No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. The 482 MSG/PK at Homestead ARB Florida 33039 intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). This will be a firm fixed priced effort to provide all tools, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and supervision necessary to complete the project. The purpose of this project is to modify and design the layout of the existing building, Building 194 at Homestead Air Reserve Base, to include clean and dirty rooms for paint and blast booths to comply with the requirements of UFC 4-211-02 section 2-5.4. The Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-211-02 Corrosion Control and Paint Finishing Hangars incorporates facility changes and requirements to ensure our Airmen are protected from exposure to materials generated at Corrosion Control Facilities (CCF). All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the attached “draft” Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition is being solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals from offerors other than Small Business will not be considered. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The RFP will be available around 20 April 2020 and RFP closing date will be around 25 May 2020. The government anticipates a single award based on Total Evaluated Price (TEP). Total contract performance period is 327 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
