The 482d MSG at Homestead Air Force Reserve Base is requiring an Automatic Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Tester, brand name or equal. The Flash point tester will be used in the fuel’s laboratory to determine jet fuels, aviation gasoline, diesel, lubricating oils, residual fuel oils, used lubricating oils and mixtures of petroleum liquids. 2. Fuel Flash Tester will be replacing an old Tester Machine. The Salient characteristics that shall be followed are found in (Attachment 2). 3.
