REQUIREMENT INFORMATION: The Fire Protection & Emergency Services Flight at Homestead Air Reserve Base requires the purchase and installation of a Solo Rescue SCBA Decontamination Washer for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses (SCBAs) and other protective gear. The decontamination washers shall ensure SCBAs, face pieces, gloves, helmets, boots, and other equipment is free of dirt, soot particles, residue of combustion gases, and other harmful residual toxins. The washer must be able to clean a variety of materials including steel, composite, rubber, fabric, and plastic. Best value is expected to result from selection of the technically acceptable proposal with the lowest evaluated price. This is a lowest price technically acceptable RFQ. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price 2. Technical Acceptability The contract will be awarded to the company with lowest price, which also fully meets all specifications. Only the lowest priced proposal will be evaluated for technical acceptability (based on the specifications).
