The 439th Airlift Wing, Westover Air Reserve Base has a requirement to purchase one C5 Ramp Cradle Assembly. It is the Government's intention to solicit and award this contract as a firm fixed price purchase order using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. The proposed acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment. The Government intends to award to the vendor who offers the lowest price technically acceptable. Technical acceptability will be determined by a 100% adherence to the blue prints, which will be provided in the solicitation. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. Salient features of the C5 Ramp cradle assembly: Dimensions; height 85.61”, Length 176.6, Length with tow bar 213.60”, width 160.85” Upper platform holding the aircraft ramp moves 18” up and down, 8” forward an aft, left to right. The cradle holding fixture will have the same contour as the aircraft ramp and will support its weight 4607 lbs. The cradle assembly will have wheels and will be towable. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation No. FA660623Q0006 will be posted on or about May 09, 2023 on the Contract Opportunities portal located at www.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the offerors to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website (www.SAM.gov). All prospective offers interested in submitting an offer must have a valid commercial and government entity code (CAGE) and a unique entity identifier (UEI) number (formerly DUNS). Contractors must be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.piee.eb.mil. No award will be made under this synopsis. The Government reserves the right to cancel this synopsis, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this synopsis, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
