The 108th Wing is looking for vendors who can perform repair and routine maintenance on hanger doors. The Contractor must have in the past been engaged in aircraft hangar repair activities to include hangar door structures along with all associated mechanical, electrical, structural, and safety components necessary to safely operate a hangar door for a minimum of five (5) years. To complete a project of this nature during the contract period, it is essential that the Contractor possesses the necessary background, supervision, and qualified personnel. Routine maintenance shall include but not be limited to: Adjust and drive PM drive units, Clean control cabinet contactors, Adjust personnel door limits, Adjust cable Systems, Adjust open and close limits, Lubricate bottom wheels and top guide rollers, Sweep out bottom tracks, Test all safety functions, provide a written report on the doors condition -Cut access holes for bottom wheel zerks and cable adjustment turnbuckles, Install cover panels on all access holes
