This is a synopsis to determine possible sources and provide contractors a notice of intent to release a Request for Quote (RFQ). If your company is interested in the subject requirement, please refer to instructions below. The U.S. Government intends to solicit for quotes for performance of services under a prospective firm-fixed price contract for Personal Property Movement at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Said contract is estimated to become effective as of July 2021 for 5 years (one basic 12-month period plus four 12-month option periods) unless early terminated. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials for the preparation of the personal property of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. All details of the requirment are defined the in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). Interested parties are encouraged to read the draft of the PWS, as soon as available, and to familiarize with the requirements. Exchanges with interested parties are highly encouraged to facilitate the understanding of the Government requirements and industry capabilities. Conferences/site visits might be announced at a later date. Interested parties can send their inputs in writing to TSgt Jaime A.
