This Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 10, Market Research. It is for information, planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the Air Force. The Air Force welcomes responses from all interested parties. The general requirement is for L3Harris Brand PRC 163 Radio System/MIL GPS/Support Equipment and PRC 167 Radio System/MIL GPS/Support Equipment as detailed in the attachment. This is a brand name requirement, so any radios other than those manufacturered by L3Harris will not be accepted. Acknowledgment of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of the outcome of the Air Force's review of the information received. Additionally, the Air Force does not intend to hold discussions concerning this RFI with any interested parties. This request is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. However, the Air Force reserves the right to contact one or more of the respondents if additional information is required or to request demonstrations. The Air Force will use this market research information to assess the market capability to successfully meet the Air Force's requirements for the procurement of AN/PRC-163 and AN/PRC-167 radio systems, to include supporting parts/accessories, at Aviano Air Base, Italy. Interested parties should provide their inputs and availability by email to Jeremy Rivera (jeremy.rivera.3@us.af.mil) and Nicole Orr (nicole.orr.1@us.af.mil) no later than August 1, 2022, 4:00PM, Rome, Italy local time.
