The size of the area is 224 sqm (28 m x 8 m), and it's not covered. The contractor has to store the salt in accordance with manufacturers instructions and the commercial best practice. The salt must be contained/stored in a sealed environment that does not leak during inclimate weather and it must prevent the salt from contaminating the ground immediately around the container. The government must inspect & approve the storage container prior to the contractor setting the container in place. The contractor must provide a storage container that will fit inside the dimensions specified. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining/cleaning the entire area provided by the government and will be subject to all applicable U.S. and Italian environmental requirements.
