NOTICE: This is a Sources Sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing Cold Weather Gear. The product specifications are listed below for better understanding of the needs of Aviano AB and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. DETAILS: Is this product available on any type of GWAC (Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts), If so which ones and do they allow for OCONUS delivery? All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 339920, Sporting and athletic goods manufacturing (is this the most applicable NAICS code? if not, which code do you reccommend). Vendor must be able to provide 410 High Loft Jackets / High Loft Pants and Artic Issue Balaclavas, to meet the specifications below: a. High Loft Jackets/ Hight Loft Pants i. OCP Pattern ii. Suitable for Cold Temperatures with other layers (BELOW 0) iii. Water Repellent iv. Velcro for required patch wear (jacket only) v. Hood (jacket only) b. Artic Issue Balaclavas i. Coyote Brown ii. One Size Fits all iii. Fleece material iv. Thin enough to use with other PPE requirements when applicable. c. Sizing (for all articles of clothing) i. X-SMALL - 2 ii. SMALL - 20 iii. MEDIUM - 75 iv. LARGE - 150 v. X-LARGE - 140 vi. XX-LARGE – 23 d. Shipping to Aviano AB Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM report. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum 4 page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The package shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met. Include the following in your statement of capabilities: Company Name; Address; Point of Contact; Telephone number; E-Mail Address; CAGE Code; Web Page URL. Please submit one (1) electronic copy of your response to vincent.gans@us.af.mil and biannica.barksdale@us.af.mil no later than 16 June, 2023 at 4:30 PM CET. CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
