Question. In the combined synopsis solicitation the unit price has to be related to each clin (0001, 0002, 0003 etc.) or is it enough the total amount? 1. Answer. In the pricing schedule each contract line item/CLIN will have the unit price and the total price related to the item descripted. Furthermore, at the end of the schedule, after all the reported line item, will be required a Grand Total (Total Evaluated Price). 2. Question. Does the combined synopsis solicitation asks submission of technical literature along with the quote? 2. Answer. A brief description on how the job is going to be performed in accordance with CLIN 0005, is sufficient. 3. Question. Is the English language required? 3. Answer. According to FAR 52.214-34 The English language is required.

Aviano Air Force Base anticipates a requirement considered under the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 541519 – Other Computer Related Services. The requirement is to provide: Digitization of Civilian Pay Document Salient Characteristics: Re-Archiving Document Digitization Estimated Sheets: about 670,000. Document types: Pay slips, Time Cards and Personal Folders. Search Keys: Pay stub - search keys - year-month-employee name. Time cards - search keys - year-month-employee name. Personal Folders - search key - employee-name. For all sheets, OCR scanning will be used rather than traditional PDF scanning, thanks to which it will be possible to search within the document for additional data. Expected time frame: 2 months. Location: at client's premises. Activity Summary: Preparation of folders and documentation for scanning. Scanning activities at customer site in OCR mode. File correction activities and search key entry. Activity of restoring folders. Transportation of equipment to customer site. Employee detachment at customer site. Arrangement and customization of cloud portal for document viewing. Arrangement of scanned copies using external hard-disk.
