Requests for solicitation w... *5 September 2023 - Modification to RFI extending closing date to 8 September 2023 NOTICE: This is a Sources Sought notice; there is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for providing B180 Cargo and B188 Passenger Vans for Aviano AB. The specifications are listed below for better understanding of the needs of Aviano AB and the respondent's potential ability to meet the Government's requirements. DETAILS: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 336999 All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing. Vendor must be able to provide two B180 Cargo Vans and two B188 Passenger Vans. The vehicles must meet the following specifications: B180 Cargo Van: The vehicle must have a diesel motor with minimum 100kW rated engine. The vehicle must be able to haul at a minimum of 700 kilograms and have a cargo area with points to tiedown cargo. B188 Passenger Van: The vehicle must have a diesel motor with minimum 100kW rated engine. The vehicle must be able to accommodate 7 passengers minimum as well as have a small cargo area to facilitate the transportation of personal luggage. Prospective contractors are cautioned to ensure that the proper NAICS code appears in their SAM report. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum 4-page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The package shall include not only capability, but also a summarized plan of how the capabilities will be met. Include the following in your statement of capabilities: Company Name; Address; Point of Contact; Telephone number; E-Mail Address; CAGE Code; Web Page URL. Please submit one (1) electronic copy of your response to vincent.lopiccolo.1@us.af.mil and brandon.skinner.2@us.af.mil no later than 6 September, 2023 at 4:30 PM CET. CONCLUSION: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
