This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services and/or supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number for this requirement is FA568222Q7048. ***SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 1*** Submission deadline: All quotes must be submitted via email no-later-than 18 August 2022 by 3:00 Central European Time (CET). DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The United States Air Force (USAF) anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract for a Laser Etcher System to include: 1 ea 50 Watt CO2 Laser Source 1 ea 50 Watt Ytterbium Fiber Laser Source and capable of meeting the specifications set forth in Attachment #1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 effective 26 May 2022, DFAR DPN 20220623, and AFFAR AFAC effective 07 July 2022. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 333515 - Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Specific Instructions All offerors are required to complete and submit the attached Combined Synopsis-Solicitation dated 26 July 2022 of this solicitation IAW FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors under Attachment #2. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
