QUESTION. The solicitation requires a table with length of 5.2 meters. According to our designers, this length would correspond to 12 places and not to 14 places. Can you please specify if there is enough space in the room, where the table is to be installed, for a table with a length of 6.3 meters instead of 5.2 meters so that there is enough place for 14 persons? 1. ANSWER. The table must be no bigger than 17ft x 5.5ft. There is not enough room in this space to accommodate anything else. Request has been built to fit 14 people with these dimensions. 2. QUESTION. The solicitation requires engraved logo in the middle of the table. Can you please specify the colors and the form of the logo? Would it be acceptable the logo to be printed and not engraved on the table or produced from a metal sheet and installed in the middle of the table? Size and image of the logo that they want to be put over the top of desk. 2. ANSWER. Attached is the squadron logo, and related RAL official colors and the minimum and maximum size ranges of the LOGO to be engraved. 3. QUESTION. We were thinking to put 4 logo in the 4 corners of the table. Does the logo have to be embossed? In this case in which material and finish or will the logo have to be screen-printed in the wood of the top? 3. ANSWER. Logo must be engraved in the center of the table only. Logo is not embossed. 4. QUESTION. Regarding the monitor, the required size is of 32 inch, which is too big for the total size of the table, what we suggest is to put touch screen monitor of max. 23.5 inch. Is this possible? 4. ANSWER. Current monitor sizes are: Diagonal 24 inches. The table must be able to hold monitors that are Diagonal 24 inches. 5. QUESTION. Please indicate if the table must be solid wood or if we can offer the veneer? 5. ANSWER. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is FA568222Q7040 and shall be used to reference any written responses to this source sought. Aviano Air Force Base anticipates a requirement considered under the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 337211. The requirement is to provide: One (1) Custom Conference Table Salient Characteristics: Custom Conference Table Must be One (1) in quantity. Must be long ~cm520 x ~cm167.64 (17ft~ long x 5.5ft~ wide) in dimensions. Must be made out of real wood. Must be dark brown/”Fire Side” color Must contain a provided engraved logo in the middle of the table. Must be able to seat 14 people (1 on each end, 6 on each side) Must have an automatic monitor lift located inside the table for each seat (14). Monitor lift must rise up and lower back down into the table when needed. Black color, the top part that will be seen when the lift is closed within the table. Must be able to hold monitors up to 32". Must include at least 14 hidden internal compartments that have x3 22v sockets, x1 RJ45, x1 USB for each computer. Hidden compartments must be able to open or close when not in use. Vendor will provide: installation of the new table and will take apart and remove the old conference table in the back of the building. Capable of holding power to the monitor while lift is up or down. Must be boat shaped. Must have space in front of the open monitor for a keyboard, mouse or notepad etc. Provide quote for direct shipping. Include in your capabilities package your DUNS, Cage Code, System for Award Management expiration date, and any related specifications/drawings. All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) you will be supplying.
