Please note this notice is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP). The 764th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) is United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) centralized organization for executing enterprise-wide strategic sourcing. Strategic sourcing best practices are utilized to continually improve and re-evaluate organizational purchasing activities, improve quality, and reduce costs. This RFI is in consideration of a potential solicitation for an Integrated Library System. The contractor shall provide a software licensing agreement and non-personal maintenance support to assure fully operable condition of a System as a Service (SaaS) Integrated Library System (ILS) throughout US Air Forces Europe (USAFE) IAW the attached Requirements Statement. The attached Requirements Statement provides the general guidelines and specific requirements. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. Any information provided by industry to the Government, resulting from this RFI, is strictly voluntarily. Vendors will not be reimbursed for any cost related to this RFI. The information obtained from industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP. Please, do NOT submit actual proposals, prices, marketing materials, or any other deliverables in your company’s RFI response. DO NOT submit item prices or product information at this time. Questions Interested vendors may provide responses to the following questions with respect to interest, unique capabilities and the proposed contract/acquisition strategy. How long is the transition time required to migrate all data from the current Horizon system to your system? Note: A fully operable Integrated Library System is required to be in place by 01 April 2022. What are the estimated costs associated with the transition and migration of the new system? ILS support is needed until the USAFE Libraries will be transitioned to the mandatory new DoD-wide Library Service Platform (LSP) competitively solicited under HDQMWR-20-C-0008 by the Commander, Navy Installations Command. Thus, the anticipated contract is only intended to prevent a gap in supply of one (1) base year and 1 option year, depending on how soon the DoD-wide contract is awarded.
